Supercharging advice, anyone???????? Hi guys, I have a 2000 camaro ss m6 and I changed my mind about nitrous, I want to go with the supercharger instead, the car allready has the patroit stage 2 ls6 heads, cam, intake, slp longtubes,ported tb,pullys and the coolant bypass. stock bottom end and stock 3.42's the car dynoed 422 hp to the rear wheels. how much boost can I safely run b4 I hurt something ? what is a good supercharger kit ? advice would be greatly appreciated thanks John.
Depending on your Compression Ratio.... Since your setup made 422rwhp i would think you have over 10.5 C/R maybe close to 10.8 C/R. With that much C/R you should be over 500rwhp with only 6psi easy. Good luck.

know what your current compression ratio is. I too would suggest
a D1SC from Procharger.
You didn't mention what fuel mods you've done, but keep in mind
that your fuel system will most likely need some work done as well.
If you really want to be safe, run 6psi through a D1. You'll see some
nice power and the motor will be very reliable.
