Well here is the deal, I have learned in my 45 years that bad things happen to good people, and that sometimes things happen that is out of our control.
When I was 20 I was on food stamps, and bankrupt, people lost money because of me. Dose that make me a bad person now???????
Life is way to short to hold grudges and it takes up way to much engery.
Rob is one of those people that something bad happened to that was out of his control.
I like Rob, Rob spent hours on my car, and never ask for a dime.

Extremely true, can't judge people on things they can't control.

John, I will ask my crew and customer to honor your request, I don't want this thread locked or removed.

The car is a mainly track car and it will see the drag strip soon, we just want to make sure everything is right first.

I guess this is why I couldn't get ahold of you guys at FFHP to get my tracking number for my engine on Friday. It never came and wanted to see if I could pick it up at the hub so I didn't have to wait but couldn't get ahold of you guys to get the tracking number.

FYI: Your voice mailbox at the shop is full. (not because of me)

the owner took the car to the track today. It ran very well. He kept it on 10-11 psi (according to the guage) which is spring pressure. this is on a 1/8 mile track.

ET...6.8x
MPH...116.xx
60 FT...1.58

He was all over the track and had to let out 3-4 times to regain traction. After the run they did a little looking around to see what the traction problem was and he forgot to let the air out of the tires and was at 25 psi down the track. We were going to take it to the quarter mile tomorrow but didnt have time to change the gears. Not bad for a first shakedown run.

So what was the final dyno #'s before the run's? You had to dyno it and make sure it was right before making passes

Rob might have tuned it on the street... BUT, I agree, let's see the numbers! I'm still very sceptical about the numbers given for the 3000 rpm dyno pull from a week or two ago.
