Default 1K HP C5 Twin Turbo setup

what's up, I was wondering if anyone here has a C5 TT Setup puting out around 1k hp? I am looking to sell my C6 and go with a C5, I'm gonna swap the engine and put in an Iron truck block probably an LQ9 and modify it from the inside out, starting with a lunati 427 stroker kit, and all the essential too much to list, but my major concern is what kind of compression will I have to run to avoid detonation with around 93 octane, and looking at maybe stage 3 twins.I know it has to be low for the turbos. but how low?.. maybe around 8 to 1? If anyone has this kind of setup please give me some input, as to who makes some good twin setups and what kind of compression to run, I found one place called HP performance they'll run around 12k for everything, anyone know of a good quality place cheaper?all will be appreciated, thanks

Check out this C5 that we used an HP Performance twin turbo kit on. I'll never do business with that company again! Bob

Not sure why you would sell your C6 and get a C5...but okay. Here is a single kit recently done on a C5> https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/497782-ffhp-408-t88-wow-preliminary-dyno-numbers-inside-1000-a.html

no need to spend the money on a 427ci when a 408 or a 402 setup correctly will easily get you in the 1000hp/tq range

if you will notice in the provided link we used a 408ci iron block, ET heads and a LS6 intake.

we are working on a sheetmetal intake for our boosted applications

Our Street Force C5 Kit should see 1000+ rwhp no problems.. we will have proof soon enough with Marko's C5... Plus we have some new wicked turbos we will offer as a Stage V package that I am working with Jose @ Forced Inductions on... can you say 1500 crank horsepower with turbos completely hidden in the fenders?

You weren't thinking you would hit the 1,000 hp mark on pump gas, regardless of compression, were you?

With a turbo combo you can easily adjust the boost to be within the limits of pump gas.

LOL, 12k for 1000rwhp...that is a pipe dream.

You are going to have at least 12k into the motor alone.

Oh damn ,your kit with their stuff ought to be the shXX. They are the best right now in the industry so far. Hell I had another shop do some custom balancing for 3 of my turbos and 1 was rebuilt as well. All I got back was piles of . Had to send them to Jose to get them fixed and done right. Oh well.

As for a 12K budget...hehe, triple that and you may can squeeze it in.

Keep your C6 and buy a mustang, a TV series turbo, and a C&S carb. I think you could do it for under 12k

Although I think you mean just the kit and accessories would be 12k. Motor will be easily that much as well. Then you have to worry about drivetrain and all the broken parts.
