How much power possible?
How much power possible? Hello All I am in the process of assembling a 382ci powerplant with 225ccDart Heads (minor clean up), custom forged 9.0:1 Wisecos with full thermal barrior and friction coatings, an STS turbo friendly cam (224/232@.050" on a 114 lsa), a LS6 intake, Shortie headers, a powerglide and a 12 bolt with 3.42:1 gears and methanol if I need it later, oh it also has a monster intercooler up front with proper ducting and a GTS76 turbo, the kit is from STS.
My question to you all is, how much power do you think it will make with a good power tune and only the 6-7 psi I was running before the engine build?
Prior to the engine build I was making over 450RWHP so I am curious how much it will make with the new engine, heads and all. I really want just an educated guess.

I would change the lsa, You are going to bleed off boost. What AR housing does the sts 76 come with?? My guess with a better cam would be 500+ on 7-8 psi. I think you would break 600+ on 10-13 psi just my 0.02$
Thats what I was thinking, I am really trying to keep it safe so it will live a long time on pump gas! Thanks for the replies, I will also be tuning it myself with a wideband on teh street for now!

The cam is the same as I was running before and it made 450 with an otherwise stock engine, so why do you say the cam is not working well? I really don't want to buy a new one right now so hopefully it will be ok for now.

your cam is fine for now....if you really want to after you get the turbo on it get boost and back pressure numbers then call up a cam builder, like thunder racing and they can get you the cam you need for max power

There's nothing wrong with his cam. I ran a custom ground turbo cam on a 110 LSA in my last motor, more overlap will help build high RPM volumetric efficiency which leads to more power, especially on boost. Why do you think you can make 450 WHP on a 100 cubic inch honda motor with 91 octane without batting an eye? Tons of overlap for lots of high RPM VE.

I just made a suggestion, Look what are the specs of your last motor ? Did you have a similar set up? I have a STS and with it I made 500+ with the 60-1 my cam specs where 217-214 551-567 116 lsa stock heads stock manafolds, with a six speed and 3.73 gears. On a sts you want the most exhaust you can get to the turbo to build boost, If you have so much overlap you are going to have a power curve like a supra 
Peek means nothing Lsx motors are not hondas we do not need to spin them to 8k to make HP my friend. FKINmovin I never said your cam will not work 
But in the 382 it will be a differnt beast. Just food for though.And the heads. Factor in the flow of your heads how far are you going to spin the motor, and back pressure. etc etc
