The 76GTS and S78 are completely different animals. The S78 will dwarf it in power and size as well. Its comparable to a GT42 with a T6 housing. The turbine is the TM1 which is ~ the same as a GT47 in size.

I have a PTK kit on order and i ordered a 76-gts with it. Would it be worth it to switch to the S78 or will it even fit on a ptk kit? im lookin to get no less then 750rwhp.

the 76gts should be good for 900rwhp so until you want more then that, why not stick with it?

People always get carried away with numbers on here. I don't think most people realize how fast a 600 rwhp car really is. 900 rwhp is just down right scary.

I second that statement Zombie.. until you can experience it first hand..... ya better make sure you really WANT 900rwhp... just thinking of it as a number and a goal without knowing how awesome the power really is can be a mistake on some peoples part.. +100 mph wheel spin can put you in a precarious position very quickly and not many have people have the skill or experience to keep the car in line and/or the rubber pointing the proper direction.

Dropping a S78 in would probably require alot of modifications to your kit. I will ask Jose Monday. I do know they are T6 flange units, so that will be the first thing you will have to change.

It does.....we have sold 4-5 units in the past 2 weeks to folks moving up from a GT42 T6, to an S-series that don't want to change anything, including those $$$ flanges...hehe

1.32 a/r it will take a bit to spool. I imagine by 4600-4900rpm you will hit full boost on a 346 depending on many different things of coarse.
