I don't understand why people are having trouble with the stock ignition setup. 
I'm still running stock LS1 coils in my CE spinning it to 7400. We run truck coils on the Formula spinning it 8,000+. Have never had ignition issues. We do run BS3. Has this only been a problem on other systems?

The standard small block front drive dist can be adapted for LS use. If you don't have the FAST ecu, buying a BS3 will cure the ignition problems that drive people to add the dist.
