Default Motor Plates and Front mounts???

I am in the begining stages of gathering all the parts and what not to start the turbo build on my TA. One of the things I came across and couldnt find in a search is if anyone was running a motor plate with a single front mount turbo.

I like the Madman motor plate but I see no way a plate like that will work with 6.0 front mount custom fabbed kit...

Any suggestions or thoughts....

Getting motorplates made isn't expensive. They can fab you up a set that works around whatever piping/etc you have planned.

Most everybody cuts into them to get the piping through.

Safety/stability mod that ties the engine into the frame rather than cradle it in the motor mounts on the K-member..

Any more pics of that setup? This is exactly what I am looking for. Also any pics of the Air to water inside the car?

Have you gotten around to turbo selection yet?? If you are going to buy new, let me know and maybe we can get a little bit of a deal. Im going to upgrade my turbo as well. Hell I may have the new turbo before we even get the old turbo on the car slow ***! Im looking at one of the S82 or something like that for the 370. Need to talk to STS first and see what they think.

Troy I think I am going to go with nothing smaller than a T88...maybe even a gt55. I want to make some serious power like over 1000 to the wheels. I am going to take my time with the set up, like over the next year and a half or so. I am really in no hurry. I know what happens when you hurry. Short cuts are made and I want to spare no expense.

I am also prolly go to do a Air to water intercooler inside the car, kinda like the pic above.

Question with MP's, the plate spaces out the water pump, pwr strng pump, and alt...How do you get the crank pulley in alignment with those? Is there a spacer, or what? I like the looks of the plate pics posted, I agree looks like its already cut for truck manifolds.

It's easy for those of us without AC.

Machine the back of the water pump a bit and put the idler pulley on some machined bar stock. Play with the laser alignment and you're good to go.
