Hows the IATs? Does that flow enough air for a 400+hp car? Any more pics? Looks like it would flow better than ATI due to more surface area, I could be wrong.

sorry guys for late responce ,
It is not running yet.
Radiator temperatures are higher than normal and fans are running more often with tune for 160 termostat on the hot day.
Im planing to make a scoop for intercooler later to increase the efficiency

A scoop like the FTRA?

About the coolant temps.. would it help if you got a larger radiator? I love the way that IC fits.

So that location presents a pretty big problem for the radiator air flow? Do you have any more pics/ specs on that IC and maybe some install info?

Again, I definately dig that location...

this is 30x8x3.5 intercooler with 2.5 in/out, when you will have front bumper with styrofoam out ,- its just so nice and easy, I drilled one hole upfront and have another 3 mounts on the other side(see on the pic). bolt that on and done.
Of course it increases temperatures, itsblocking 80% of the radiator opening , but proper scoop will fix the problem.
Basicaly we have no other choice , ATI , cut the front bumper or my way with the scoop.

That's how my IC is, 31x8x4, never got a chance to log IAT's though. Have a buddy making 13psi boost on his 9:1 347 and runs maybe 30-40 above ambient after full 135mph blast and then immediately cools off.

I have my intercooler mounted like this and noticed no difference while normally driving, but I turn on my fans at a lower temp than stock and use a stock Tstat. Under boost is a different storry though. The first time I noticed it I thought "head gasket". During a TNT run from 40ish- 120ish I noticed the temp gauge rise a lot, fast. The needle will rise about 3/16" anytime under boost for about 10 seconds and up. The temps do come down to normal very quickly though, about a minute or so of steady cruising. Oh this is also a V6, so I'm sure a V8 car would be much worse.

Igora it looks very good so far....I had the same intercooler you have on your car but i had it mounted in my front bumper....I understand about not cutting the bumper...i think if i had a firebird instead of a camaro i wouldnt cut it up either....as far as the Temp. goes....do you still have your AC in?? well if you still have it in and you dont use it i would reccomend taking it out with that type of mounted intercooler only because when you remove the AC condensor radiator it opens up more free flowing air going to the radiator....Also i set my radiator fans to turn on at 185* with a 180* thermostat...my car never runs hot

Looks nice but your radiator will run a lot hotter since you blocked off it's primary source of cooling.

+1 on that, it looks nice but I dont know if it would be worth the potential risk. Im just going with a fmic and be done with it, but like you said, taking out the bird is out of the question so Ill just have to get over it as well. OR you can run an air-to-water system.
