Yea.. it was sold for $17k.. sweet setup. The z28 got flood damage so they did a complete resto. And while they were at it.. they did the necessary mods to put a magnacharger in it. Pretty sweet setup. Def. different. Put down 500-550..

Looks liek $5900 for an LS-1 kit 7-18 psi. My question is will it fit under the hood of a WS-6? On the Vette, they have a raised fiberglass hood. If it would fit this is a hella cool deal!!

You still need the Corvette accessory drive to make it work. The "Hot Rod" kits are the same as the Corvette kits without the injectors, hood and flash tuner.

I was planning to buy one of their systems for my '68 Camaro LS1 project. I called them once to ask them some questions and the guy on the tech line was less than friendly. A few weeks later I sent them an e-mail with a list of questions (felt it was easier to get all my info on paper). I never got a response..... so they lost a customer.

I decided to go with a 90mm inlet Magnacharger instead. It costs less, will work with the f-body accessory drive, and is capable of meeting my 500 rwhp goal without any issues. The tech guys at Magnacharger were great, and they also offered to dyno tune my car at their headquarters when it's done. They are only about 30 minutes away from me, so it makes my decision that much easier.

Maybe some managment at Kenne Bell need to be aware of this problem. I really liked their product too, but bad customer service is such a turn off. I would assume the owners of KB want to sell superchargers, but I doubt the hourly-paid tech line guy really cares if you buy anything. I feel you should be treated well when trying to spend 7 grand or more with a company. It's a shame really.

I've heard that there is a long wait time to get the unit from the time the order is placed. Do a search at the Corvetteforum.com on Kenne Bell, there is alot of info.
