700 rwhp with procharger possible ??
Is 700 rwhp possible with the D1SC 8 ribbed kit?? I have the kit with 60 lb injectors, fuel pump,SCDE tensioner and a forged 346 comming up. How many pounds of boost can I run to obtain this goal, if it is possible??? Also how much strain will it be on this motor???

Check out the link above, where we got 717 rwhp at just 5200 rpm with a 346 ci and an ATI ProCharger D-1SC. 16 psi of boost combined with the Lingenfelter GT2-3 camshaft, and Patriot LQ9 Stage 3 heads.
Since the engine doesn't have to be taken in orbit in rpm, it should last for a long time. Bob

i dont understand why you wouldnt be able to make that power? if im not mistaken on Prochargers website said the supercharger is good to 32PSI i believe. and the next supercharger after that would be the F1 series.

PSI has nothing to do with horsepower... it only shows the motors restriction...
when looking at a blower find the CFM that it will flow or do the generic thing and look at how much HP it will support and take about 8-10% off

Compression and Head/Cam choice will dictate the power you make. You will need more fuel system for 700rwhp than what you got.
As for power, we've made 820+rwhp with a D1 and A3 but it had some good compression

I bet it will..
I mean Chris from MTI has made almost 700rwhp and 800+rwtq for right at about a year on a stock LS2 bottem end on nitrous.. and it goes through a bottle a week.
The Vette should easy do well into the 140s in the 1/4 when we goto the track in a week or two.

I agree, with proper tuning and nice little blower cam it should be a no brainer but you will most likely have to upgrade your fuel system also to support those horsepower levels!!

I'm sure a D1 can get to 700rwhp if you have the fuel system and can keep the blower belt on.

Speed Inc hit 725rwhp on my old vortech YSI setup @13psi on 104oct but pullied it back down to 641rwhp@10psi on pump gas w/ a forged 348ci motor back in the Summer of 2004 so i'd say you making 700+rwhp w/ a D1 on a decent combo/tune should be fairly easy
