How Much Airflow Am I Actually Taking In?? Experts??
I am purchasing 2 new turbos and am just curious as to what you think as to how much AIR my motor actually consumes. Seems pretty efficient to me? I need to make sure my turbo purchase will actually make a + difference in overall power throught the range. I need MAX EFFICIENCY, It is only a 93 octane motor, I run 16 psi most of the time on the street (800 ish RWHP)
Every airflow calcualtion chart varies.
-346"
-TEA stage 2 heads
-224 duration .580 lift cam
-Twin 60-1 HI-FI, P-TRIM turbos
-T400/12 bolt
-At ambient temp of 80 I see about 90-95 degrees on the intake temps on a full pass.
Any opinions??
Your combo is one of the most effiecient I've seen on the VE calculator page I use. It's showing a VE% of 100% with that amount of boost(depends on actual airflow numbers though). Seems like your combo is already really good.

It's funny. Last year on my 1st pass, I had intake temps of 138 degree. I put the air filters in a cool area instead of right behind the radiator where the turbos are, and It dropped almost 50 degrees!!!!
