Lucky for them, I have been busy with work and family stuff.

But I'm itching to put the Formy back on the road in turbo form.

But wait... no intercooler. After repeated conversations with Benji in sales, I got nada. Benji is new so it's not his fault. But I ordered the intercooler at the end of last year.

This is completely bogus. Apparently Jim in engineering can't even get this intercooler expedited.

I guess I give up. Talk about lousy customer service.

I guess I will check out the big OBX, Spearco, Bell, or some A/W solution...

I literally have every other part sitting in boxes.

My brother seems to be having good luck with his 4" OBX(frcefed98). Although, he did state that it seems to heatsoak more than the 3" he used to have.

Damn that sucks dude...I have my Griffin already mounted in...Let me tell you, it's a quality piece... If you need one for the time being you could probably run the OBX or something like people are suggesting but I would sell it once you got the Griffin cuz it's freaking nice and a HUGE difference

Never have problems getting IC's from Precision. You have waited about 5 months too long IMO.

I've never had an issue w/ Spearco/Turbonetics, but I'd try Bell too.

If I go A/W, I'm getting mine from Chiseled Performance. I think Outlaw can attest to how good his stuff is.

John why don't you just get an intercooler from precision or better yet as mentioned above Chiseled Peformance? Rob is the man!

John, what the hell is wrong with you? At least THREE members have designed, ordered, and received custom Bell intercoolers SINCE THE LAST TIME YOU POSTED ABOUT GRIFFEN. Not since you ordered, just since that last thread. That's completly rediculous. My assumption was that you were getting the Griff for free and that was your excuse...but damn...last year? Hell, Tony has a spearco-cored unit sitting around probably still on ebay right now.

My old Griffin is sold. It is indeed a quality part.

I'll check out Bell and the other firms.

Money no object then go with the bell intercoolers, looks like quick turnaround and pretty decent pricing for a custom made IC.

Money issues or wife hating you spending money on the car = OBX, XOXO racing ebay intercoolers.

Cant beat the ebay coolers for the price tho

I talked to Benji at Griffin today, and he had no news. Sounds like they are blowing off all the intercooler orders right now. I asked him to ask Jim B. in engineering to look into this.

I was trading an intercooler for advertising, but I might take them to small claims court for non-payment if something doesn't happen soon.

We can occasionally do it FormulaFire, but in this situation, these guys are apparently blowing off a lot of intercooler customers from what I heard. How can guys take in orders if they are taking 6 months to fill them... Folks should avoid these guys like the plague.
