Where is the housing cracked? All of the incon exhaust housings that I have seen will have small cracks from the internal WG to the exit poing of the exhaust in the exhaust housing.

i think that is where he said...something to do with the wastegate puck. he said he thought it was caused from overporting that area i believe. new housing is 185....i dunno if i need one or 2 as they closed at 4:30 and I got the email at 5pm.

That was the kit for my 71rsz., guess I was too slow.

Jerr, you always let the turbo's cool before you shut down right.
I wonder what's up with the cracks, I have 13,000 on mine. I'll have to check mine...
In another 47k or so.

Boost is like crack for your car,
Get the saw out, the tree's going down.

Did the fuel pump last night, figured out the fuel pressure regulator today, and my newlywed wife helped me put the fuel tank back in! God I love that girl. The 'Hawk runs perfectly! wOOt!!!

I'm gonna button up the rest of the tail end tomorrow and turn it around in the garage and start on the front.

Stu, no i dont let it cool down...resevoirs solve the oil coking problems some setups have. Apparently mine is not an isolated case with the cracking and I never saw them anyway. Housings are 185 each...available from Garrett and he will have them by Mon/Tues of next week. I should be driving around the 21st. He said my housing do have enuff "meat" to put in the -12 cartridges.....wonder how much power they will make. I am expecting 850 but we will see.

850 rwhp..... wow. Simply... wow.

I still remember reading "Hot Rod" , "Popular Hotrodding" etc in the late 1980's and having 850 rwhp hp on a street driven car (daily driver no less!) was almost unheard of.

850 sounds so nice for such a street friendly setup.
A true all around supercar.
I here the turbos cool 100deg. for every minute you idle the car before shutdown. If I'm just cruzing I just shut down, but after a beating I let it idle 3 minutes before shutting it off. It eases the expansion and contraction and might extend the life of the housings.
Can’t wait to see some new vids with the new turbos.

I think 850's about 1065 at the crank through your auto trans. whoa

i am going to try meth at first and no intercoolers depending on what my turbo IATs are.
I dunno if it will make 850rwhp...just what i am expecting. I am thinking 93+meth for the street with LOW timing...I mean how much power can you really use on the street and you cant make long pulls either. At the track, racegas and meth. I may blow it up the first day...anybody who knows me knows I am not scared to try something different..if the -12 cartridges turn out to not be the thing to do with the Incons, you guys will get a valuable tip for free
