I coulndt resist waiting till i get to work tomorow to see these pics, my 56K loaded this just fine! Only too 3 1/2 minutes! Looking good!

Personnaly it looks like a three year old did the welding.

I can't believe how tight everything is. It must have been a ton of work to design it to squeeze it all in there. Looks good, I'll bet you put up some really strong #'s.

Wow I didnt notice that. Maybe they are in ahurry to push these out and are not taking the time needed to clean up the welds. Or go over them again

WTF....where does the exhaust from the turbo go? And hopw the hell does the boosted air get from the turbo to the intake?

Heads down toward the intercooler which is located by the lower air damn, then out the other end of the IC and up through the driver's side into the TB.

I guess they can always run that cloth like someone else did (either nasty ta or frced98 or something).

...or a simple K&N cone filter will fit on the inducer at that point.

the black coating is a hitemp 2000* coating. its not a rattle can coating.
They dont look too bad...perhaps some closeup pics will be better.

Going "over" a weld is not recommended. Any welder with experience will tell you this. A weld necessarily doesn't have to be "pretty" to be functional. As long as you have adequate penetration for the material thickness, even an ugly weld has strength.

The grinder is your friend when using FCAW or lesser when you GMAW.

You cant tell people that though.

A man can lay down the pretties looking bead that wont hold for **** and everyone loves it. Splatter down something that serves the purpose of making 2 pieces into one and folks think its garbage.
