Anyone know what it'd take to fabricate a STS turbo system to fit on a 1972 Chevelle? I'll be putting an LS1 in my Chevelle this winter and would love to go the STS route. They sell a universal kit but it says it doesn't come with any tubing?

Yeah, i've seen a couple front mount twin turbos on Chevelles and they are really sweet! I just don't have the fabrication ability to do such a thing so i'm more or less looking for something thats nearly bolt-on. I'm doin some looking into the Kenne Bell thinking that might be a good way to go.

Since you have an ls1 in a chevelle and you're looking for some kind of forced induction, it'd be pretty sweet to see that whipple 3.3L in the chevelle
under a 4 inch hood
. Just a thought.

I have a standard SS hood so that gives me a lil more clearance over a typical Chevelle hood. Guess i should measure my actual clearance. The DS1C Procharger looks like it'd be a good way to go too.
