For a daily driven car in florida AC is a must, even if not for AC, but for the defroster to keep the windows from fogging during the daily rains during the summer.
I won't remove AC unless the car runs 8's....

I say for a racecar that is streetable-remove the a/c......but for a street car thats raceable I would have to keep it.........I would rather run a few tenths slower at the track the few times it goes compared to listening to my 10 yr old girl in the back seat complain about it being hot everytime we are in the car

you know your from the north when you say that the breeze coming of the water down here is still hot!! HAHAHa!! I love the colder weather... however, my only thing is that i can still race comfortably in the winter months and not have to change tires or garage the car.

And you know guys this is really not a 'serious' thread so dont get offended. I have been doing this a long time and the street/car race car debate is always a fun one. People have different perspectives on what makes a 'perfect' car, house, wife etc and thats what great about life in the US in general

Mecham, dude, the supra in that vid you raced (you know, the vid that put you on the map!! ) do you happen to know the BOV that guy is running?

I have my daily to be comfortable... But for those few times that somehow I end up dressed in something other than windbreakers and a T-shirt during a hot day, I definitely thank my lucky stars I have AC... I could count on my hands for how many drives a year I use my AC- Trust me, I'm almost ALWAYS with the windows down- but I DON'T want it out.
I don't drive it daily, but, for instance, once my friends wanted me to take the car to a baby shower to see it. I didn't mind. I wore a pair of slacks and a three-button polo. I started up my car and said to myself, "I ain't using my AC." Halfway there, I could tell that my back was soaked and my *** was like a swamp, akin to the properly phrased two-word statement. HAH, the temp outside was only 80!!! But the humidity was like 90%.
Not everyone wants an F-body race car.

I thought about it for a second..but that would be wayyyy too much blue in my garage. my friend has his supra the same color.

kp, that is a nice color. HAve you thought about leaving the top black and the rest of the car in the new color/blue. I mean, paint the hood, fenders, quarters, trunk lid/spolier rear section he blue and leave the "bubble" in a gloss balck...

a/c is a must if the car ever needs to be driven during the day (basically a backup to the daily) in this area. 2-3 months of 95* minimum everyday. As hot as 15* more for a few stretches later this month.
