Default Help me reach 550rwhp/650rwtq with STS LT1

I have a 94 camaro z28 lt1 engine - pretty much stock right now with the sts kit t-67 upgraded turbocharger. Next summer I want to build up a forged shortblock and hopefully reach my power goals of around 550rwhp and around 650rwtq. If anyone can give me advice on parts that would get me there that would be great. I would just like to run stock heads. But I'm not sure if that will get me there. How much max boost can I run with the t-67 sts turbo?? But yeah if anyone can give me a set-up that would be great. I was told to do a 355 over a 396 and also was told it really would not matter if I had the heads ported since I went with force induction. - Thats what I was told by a performance shop near me. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. - Mike

Compression? I would shoot for 9.0:1 for your goals. Use 60lb injectors and a FMIC.... that is all it should take. I think you would see your goals around 10lbs of boost.

It will take a bit more than 10pounds of boost especially on an lt1 BigDaddy!

550rwhp will be easy enough w/10psi on an LT1, but it will require ported heads.
