Default something interesting with a blower I got to work on today

I did some idle tuning and AFR tuning on this today for Mosler Motorsports . Thought Id share some pics. The car is all carbon fiber in and out, with a stock LS6 bottom end. Magnason blower, heads and cam. This car will be transported to New York then driven across the country in some high profile high dollar car tour.

Mosler motorsports in Riviera Beach Florida. They build them from the ground up. They even give them a real VIN number. These are the cars that "from which they told me"
were the fastest in the supercar challenge on motor trend.

Are the door handles and mirrors from a C5? I know this car uses C5 brake lights.

I just noticed the front and rear side markers are C5 too...

Yes there is alot of C-5 parts on the car. I thought that was kind of funny too. I dont know the name of the show but apparently its big and they are sparing no expense to make sure the car is there on time. It uses a Porsche transaxle and 6 speed trans. I heard talk of 1/2 a million for price but never asked exactly how much. It is the first prototype of this new body and is the most advanced one theyve come out with. It is the first to have the blower and A/C.

It isnt a kit car .They hand build them in house and sell them to the pulic as finished cars. They dont sell any kits as far as I know.

Looks like it says MT900SCR. It looks like a MT900S for the most part, but if its a revised body I dunno whats new about it lol. Mosler does some sweet stuff w/ his cars and GM powerplants tho.

You should've taken the keys for the night

Worked on a Mosler car out in Hawaii with an LS1 in it, but it was not anywhere near as nice as this one. It was more of a road race car.

Nobble dont make kit cars and never have! the guy behind nobble used to be an owerner of the Ulttima i think. see www.ultimasportscars.co.uk for more info on them!

also there is a guy building an ultima GTR with a magy supercharged LS2 in there. have a look at http://www.schwartzperformance.com/alien.htm for an example of the engine used. there is also a very nice twin turbo 402 going in the back of one!

back to the original post, i love these! they are great and very quick! the moslers compeated in the Btriish GT championship and won until the saleens came along!

thanks Chris.

The road race Mosler uses an essentially stock LS6 engine and has run faster than a lot of exotics based on its light weight and great handling. Definitely not a cheap thrill, since it's priced well north of the Ferrari 430.

One of my wet dream cars.

Moslers site says it starts at $189k, which isnt all THAT bad of a deal for basically a custom car.

Altho, Im sure one optioned out like how the one posted is it'll be in that 430 pricerange easilly.
