Default Incon spark plug wires

Hey incon guys, DO NOT use those damn fiberglass plug wire shields they sell. My msd wires functioned perfectly. Put those shields on and THREE wires have burnt thru and arced against the manifolds in 3 days. Dunno why but I took off those shields...used some old stock wires i had and everything is much better now. just a FYI

Eric called me yesterday thinking I had been using these and told me about the problems you were having...Never used em. Were they suppose to protect the wires from heat or somehow make them more efficient??

Anyway sounds like a POS product! I still have my Taylor wires I cannot use anylonger because of the larger coils that stand off the factory coil mount a little more than the stock coils. Let me know if you need them...

Yeah they are supposed to protect the wires/boots from heat....they microwaved mine

#8 is a BITCH...i pull the coils and dipstick tube and slide my arm down the side of the block...seems to help and is worth the effort to remove that stuff. Eric told me about your car...AWESOME!!! How much for the Taylors...never tried those with the Incon kit.

The 6.0 wires are a bit longer than the stock LS1 ones. I think the truck coils are a bit smaller so the coils sit higher on the bracket. To compensate GM made the 6.0 wires just a bit longer.
