I just realized the FMS green-top 42lb injectors I have (currently) are rated 42lbs @ 40psi fuel pressure. If I'm running 58# fuel pressure, what do these actually flow? I need a set of Mototrons, but want to break the new motor in with the 42's and low boost before jumping to 15 or 16# on a tune. Any place to calculate flow at specific fuel pressures?

check in the tuning section for the SVO injector thread. You can calculate the flow rates with Marcin's sheet. FWIW, the 42 SVO injectors (which is what I run too) are actually about 48lb at our fuel pressure.

 

Wow, that's great... Thank you, both of you! I have also heard the mototron 60's are actually 65? At what pressure are they referring to? At our pressure, what is the true flow?

 

Not sure on that one, not familiar with the 60 lbers.

 

When I installed the FMS 42's, we had to actually enter them as flowing 42, not 48.

 

Original flow rating X the sq root of the new PSI, divided by the old PSI.....
IE: 42 x SQ rt of 60
---- = 42x 1.1952 = 50.19PPH
