Best tool for notching a k member?

Well I got the Z all tore down for my turbo build up and I'm ready to notch the k member for the passenger side truck manifold. What's the best tool for the job aside from a plasma cutter? Sawzall or cut off wheel? And if anyone has pics of their notched k member please post 'em up. I've done a lot of searching but can only find pics of tubular k member cars.

I've never done it for a turbo setup, but have for Headers & a Sawzall cut through it like butter.

We usually use a torch, but other cutoff tools should work fine

You can't just us some wasers to have it clear.

if i just gotta make some clearance, carbide bits to get the nice smooth surfaces after a cut off wheel.

JDZ: Washers? You mean to lift the motor off the mounts some?
