Sorry to kinda sorta hijack the thread...
My question is did you have to do any changes to your system to change from the GT4276 to the S88? The reason why I ask is I'm putting my GT4276 on a 383 LT1 and I'm afraid I may push past the abilities of that turbo, and was wondering what it would take to put the S88 turbo in its place later down the road.

Thanks for any help you can give me...and that's one bad *** car...

In Kyle's case swapping to the S88 was a direct fit. That may or may not be the case for you depending on any placement constraints. For the most part, one would suspect that you shouldn't have any issues simply because Kyle's packaging was about as tight as it gets to begin with.

Their are no placement constraints going to an S88, or any of the S series units. Its basically the exact same external frame as a GT42/T6. Our S70, S74, S76, S78...etc are drop in units to the 42/T6 units.

congrats Kyle, trust me when I say that I know how it sucks waiting a year and a half for your turbo build up

Definately make some vids, maybe you can put something introductory together like I did when I first got my car.

Im curious to see how it sounds spooling inside the car, and as a drive by.

What type of BOV did you go with?

that 9.2 at 150+, was that on the pump gas boost setting, or was that ran on a higher boost setting?

it's a procharger race valve

All the passes were with good fuel in the car. It's setup so Kyle can just put in good fuel and turn the ****. The quicker pass was on ~20 psi, the slower was on ~12 psi. The car was tuned for ~12 on 93 pump fuel. 3/4 turn on the boost control was the only difference between the 2 passes

Is that race valve the same thing as a by pass valve?

I thought its not recommended to user by pass valves for Turbo setups, or was it you shouldnt user BOV's for superchargers?
