Sheered all 5 ARP wheel studs off this afternoon....
Tow truck guy and my Buddy Chris and my wife really helped me out. car is home in the garage.
New axles with 5/8 studs have been ordered. Thanks for those Joe.
Only downside is the 2 week wait.
Thanks god i didnt wait and went with my original plan of taking the car to the track tomorrow.
Ill post a couple pic's tomorrow.

You busted an axle? When you say sheered off, do you mean that your wheel just spun so fast that is ripped apart its anchor points?

I guess its good it happened now, instead of a hard launch at the strip.
another member sheered his off a few weeks ago at the track and landed up on the wall about 6" from the tree with tons of damage.

Yeah thats y i was kinda happy...... at least it didnt really hurt the car to bad........ after further looking at it it did crack my deep trans pan also

Stenod say he's seen this quite a few times with even ARP studs. They do start to weeken over time and when they start to bend there done......
Oh well im not going to mop around abou it..... it happened at a time where it really didnt hurt the car to bad or worse total it and Me and my buddy are safe. Thats all that really matters.
