Question Where are the O2 Bungs on the TTI Street Kit?

I know you use a stock exhaust manifold on the pass side of the car and I assume thats where the pass side O2 goes.

Where does the driver side O2 screw into? Downpipe, Log Manifold?

Any one have any pics showing this?

Just wondering from a tuning stand point.

yes the passenger one is on the passenger manafold, like stock, and the driverside is on the downpipe. actually i had mine a little bit after the downpipe if i remember right, as i had to put it after the steering shaft where i could access it at.
i dont think i have any pics.

Wouldn't it be better to have the O2 on the driver's side in the manifold instead of the down pipe since the passenger's side exhaust gets measured in the manifold? Seems to me having the O2 in the down pipe wired for the driver's side of the motor is actuall reading O2 signal that has already been read. Maybe it doesn't matter in the long run. God knows the TTi Street Kit is a great starter Turbo system.

On mine the pass side is in the crossover, not the manifold itself.

yes it would be better, but thats the way tti has it on the street kit, ther erealy isnt anywhere to put it on the log.
the downpipe o2 reads both banks.

the passenger o2 might have been on the crossover, just past the passenger manafold, its been a while.

Here is my crossover and downpipe TTi setup. In the crossover pic the pass side is the right side in the picture, you can barely see the O2 bung on the bottom of teh pipe.

I was wondering if there are any opinions as to the best spot to put the wideband. Choices are in crossover (with it only reading the passenger side cylinder bank) or the downpipe reading both banks.

so where should i put mine? I made the headers, single turbo,2.5 crossover, I was going to put both in the DP, and put the WBO2 just before the cat, under the floor board, so i could run the wiring( for A/F gauge,EFI hook up) into my center console, Should I just put the NB O2s in the collectors from the headers?? THANKS

If you are custom making yours with headers, put one in each collector, and then the Wideband in the downpipe after the turbo .

Thats what I would do, except I might consider putting the WB in the drivers side header to since cylinder 7 seems to be the one that dies first.

the pressure from the up-pipe will kill the wideband early
put the wideband in the downpipe where it is supose to go, o2's near the collectors.

Agreed, thanks. Did not think about the pressure killing the wideband. Hell, I have enough issue with the damn WB now, no sense adding another thing to go wrong.
