YEAH I agree, except a big variable your not addressing for boost levels of 14/15 lbs, is that the aftermarket castings (AFR, etc.), have much thicker deck material making them more desirable for the above boost levels vs. stock castings (thus, less likely to blow head gaskets, lift, etc.).

so far happy with 317's

I run a set of stock 6.0 heads that have ferrea 6000 series intake valves and special alloy exhaust valves, I have not leaned on the car hard yet and it already made 642 hp on a mustang dyno. That was on 16 psi and a 347 inch engine. I use a mechanical roller cam with comp springs. The turbo is a pt76gts.

I use Patriot LQ9 Stg 2 Heads, and on a Dynojet dyno it yielded 651rw and 561tq at 12 lbs of boost this last time out with a procharger. I dont really go to the track at all. Of course its a project that I will never stop working on and I need alot more money.
