does your alternator slip?
With the increased revs, i wouldnt expect it to fall like that unless its slipping
Everything dims initially (lights and such), volt meter drops to 9 or 10 volts, and then it climbs back up to normal. Only on a flat stab to WOT though. And usually when it has to make a down shift.I'm figuring it's the rapid accel from the downshift, and the crusty 75k mile belt that still in there.
Try a new belt maybe?
I've had 2 do it as well, on the same car no less.
