Default Its all coming together now

I finally got about all my parts for my twin turbo C-5 buildup. The turbos I got from John@Turbo-Zone. All hot parts are from ProTurboSystems . Everything else is going to be custom made. This is the start of a huge project that will take some time but I will give new pics when Ive got them.

Turbos are 67/69mm Precision Industries.
Twin 38mm turbos smart wastgates
Twin 50mm tial BOV's
Snow alcohal injection
Huge front mount
Nitrous on intercooler
20-25 psi of boost.

They are surge holes. Meant for small cube motors running big turbos to limit low speed/rpm surge.

I was told that the turbos would be effeciant to 1250 rwhp.

I have to do the fuel system and some other odds and ins before I can start putting the kit on the car. I will post more pics as soon as I get things on the car.

Thanks for any kind words .Ive been watching and saving for years so I could finally do my own kit.

I would like to say thanks to LS1TECH members for helping me by posting their kits and problems to help me see how to do it right. The more I learn, the more I will help others do the same thing.

I say if you are doing nitrous or nitrous on the intercooler, then you find or build some small intercoolers (twin config a la Incon). My motivation for this would be the "overheating" thread currently alive in this forum.

I think the perfect build includes the following:
A Corvette or Trans Am
Big Stuff 3 or other SD PCM
A large fuel systems that's quiet and doesnt kill pumps
Built motor
Iron manifolds or coated mild steel headers
T4 turbos (TWO)
*Limited to no cooling issues* (i.e. Incon, Jim's LT1, and probably his LS1 too)
Limited to no relocation and zero removal of accessories

We have pushed them as high as 1350rwhp. With the surge holes they will make less, but still plenty.

gl with the build, thats definatly bad ***!

also good luck with putting A N Y of that power to the ground, i cant put 700 to the ground. at about 3g, when they spool, im all over the road, even in 3rd gear at 80 mph with bfg drag radials. haha

however, twin turbo vettes sure are fun. if nothing else than for bragging rights.

I am thinking very hard about a solid axle and a powerglide trans. I know it will be very difficult to get it down the track, but I love challenges, and I hope for the best.

I will be gettin a good radiator to help in the cooling. I also have a vented hood that has the vent right above the turbos. That should help alittle.

You will be very happy with those hair dryers! I'm actually thinking about putting a set on my FRC, versus two 61mm's, when I'm a little more free from current customer builds. Those things will sing a mean tune!

Thanks everybody. I am excited for this to start getting together. I just wish I had more time to get everything else on the car before putting the kit on.
