I went out last night after throwing hte 42# injectors in and loaded up a tune.

Running 24* total advance and 6lbs and it pulls hard! I love turbos. Jesus.

One of the first romps was from a roll next to some STi...
I wasn't ready to say the least. Blew the tires off right away and *** went towards the STi,
pedal'ed and was then on the wrong side of the road. I can't believe how good it runs.
Gotta watch out for that downshift!

Pics if i get some requests to take some and when i figure out what the hell to take some video
with I will get some vid action.

Sweet. Did you do the tuning? If so, using what? Lt1Edit or Tunercat. Is this 6# on the stock shortblock? My own shortblock is just about finished so hopefully soon, I can post what's going down with my own T76MPS, 8.8:1 forged block. Thanks for posting your progress! It puts a grin on most of our faces.

I plan on hiding the fuel lines when i find a grommet to my liking. I hate how they routed them.

Dirty or not, your engine bay looks surprisingly uncluttered. Congrats on the install and the finished product. I'm looking forward to my own finishing steps with the T76 w/MPS Wheel. The shortblock is being worked on by the machine shop as we type. I'll have an M6 instead of the Automatic so power delivery will be different.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. What boost were you pushing when she popped? What head gasket were you running? Are you running studs or head bolts?

Just stock head gaskets with standard bolts.

Going to a metal gasket that they used in the mid 50's on the SBC. Gets rid of the weak point, so I'll blow it up before they let go.

I know a few people spraying the hell out of them and they are something stupid cheap like $6 bucks apiece.

Decided to go with stock felpro permatorqu gaskets because the metal gaskets are thinner and i don't feel like giving any on compression.

Will be tearing it down hopefully tonight and gaskets arrive tomarro and be running by Sat night...

Wish me luck
