They dont look as if they flow that well, but there are plenty of skylines and Supras that use them to good effect.

The larger version is 8" diameter, and can be had with a variety of mouth sizes, and would be about 3" tall.
it could maybe mount directly onto the blower ?

I used to use a couple ages ago on my old Rover V8 twin turbo.

Ya know, that just might be the ticket. Of course you'd have to vent the bypass valve to atmosphere, and the PCV would have to go away. And then there is the pulling hot air off the the engine & headers issue, but hey, that's what Meth inj is for, right?

Once on the move, I think there would be enough "cool" airflow for it to be fine.

I can assure you, although I have a large K&N filter on my car, it is in a worse location than your setup ( IMO anyway ), in terms of drawing in hot air.

My blower is rear facing, with teh filter directly above the headers, with little ability to duct air to it, and virtually none when stationary.

but as you say, Meth soon sorts that out
