Turbo placement??
I see alot of pics where ppl would put their turbos behind the radiator and just put an airfilter on the inlet of the turbo ,so it can suck in all the hot air from the radiator.I thought hot air=bad.Dont u guys worry about the hot air??

Well you can route a pipe and place your air filter elsewhere if you want, but the air is going to get pretty hot going through the turbo anyway, thats what intercoolers and or methonal injection systems are good for, cooling things down

No, that's not what intercoolers are for.
You can only get a delta temp drop across the cooler. Any compressor will add heat as it compresses the air, depending on the efficiency, pressure ratio, etc, but that heat is added to the temperature of the air ENTERING the turbo. The intercooler is there to help remove the heat you added by compressing the air in the first place.
If you start with 150°F underhood air and then compress that, and then try to cool it, you'll be lucky to get back to 170° if you're leaning on it any.
Get 70° air into the turbo and you'll be much happier.
