no but i want to take a washer or two out so it blows off correctly ....

 

Judging by your member title....I don't think you need any help "blowing off correctly"

 

If your not running much boost, it doesnt really matter. I would say put it where it fits, if its a decent sized valve it will do its job and vent that pressure like it should. Now if your running alot of pipe and a ton of boost, a extra large valve or 2 medium valves may be nessesary.
