Spal fan wiring questions
Spal fan wiring questions I am mounting dual spal fans in front of the radiator on my turbo setup and I'm wanting to use the stock wiring. The fans have two white wires and two black wires, can anyone tell me which of the 4 stock wires each of the new fan wires will connect to? I'm not sure which of the stock wires are power and which are ground. Thanks!
On the left hand fan the light blue is + and the grey is minus.
On the right hand fan the white is hot and the black is ground.
On low speed the fans run in series so the left fan is grounded through the right fan (thats why run at 1/2 speed) and on high they are both grounded.
You may have to reverse the spal wires, it wont hurt to hook them up backwards so make sure the are spinning the right way.
