Default BOV vaccum/spring question

My motor is torn apart so I can not check myself. I am trying to figure out what spring to order with my Tial 50mm BOV (not wastegate). It is available with an 11, 9, or 7 PSI spring.

I was told by the techline from this vendor that I was to measure the vaccum pressure at the line I was going to use for the BOV, and the divide it by two, and then select a spring that is SLIGHTLY higher than that number:

ie......if my vaccum reads 20, then I should choose the 11 psi spring.

HELP! I am going to use a vaccum line from the throttle body I believe.

The lighter the spring, the more it will go off. I would do the 11psi spring.

I'm not speaking from experience here but I did do a search on this same topic. The general consensus is that a 9psi spring should be used at minimum but the 11 is the recommended route.
