I think you'll need to spin it higher to get everything out of it. I spin my LS2 to 7500. Will find out this weekend what the new motor likes. What lifters you running?
Get that thing to the track ASAP.

Over the years I have not seen any evidence to say that piston velocity and side loading etc. warrant us keeping the stroke down. But I'm undecided at this point.
-Rev springs, 1.7 non-adjustable Y/T rockers, Inconel exhaust valves that can take more heat..... 2.05/1.60 valve sizes
-900rwhp is possible not sure I want to turn it up that high without first making some runs. I'd like to end the year on a good note not broken.

still hydraulic?
what does your valvetrain consist of?
you still have a stock tach, how where you shifting the rossler 210? (that was a rmvb right?) your 4l80e was shifted by the bs3 computer right

Comp OE style replacement lifters.

I used to spin the blower combo to 7100-7200.

I've got the spring pressure to run it up higher, that's always an option.

Come on... you know the PSJ process by now... there are many many dyno sheets to come before we can see it at the track.

It was like an Alley Oop play... I had to finish off the dunk.

Yep, hydraulic in both motors.
LS2- Comp-R lifters, Harland Sharp rockers, Comp dual springs
ERL- Morel lifters, T&D Shaftmounts, and Gold dual springs from TEA.
Still have the stock tach but use a shift light when I run the TH210. BS3 does shift and lockup the 80E.

Back on track. PSJ, from what we have been told the stock style replacement ones from Comp aren't designed for high RPM or really high seat pressure. That combined with high boost could be very bad. I started out with a new set of Comp-R's in the ERL block and they gave me nothing but problems. From the looks of them just after the short time I ran them. I wasn't happy. The cup retainer was distorted and looked like it could possibly pop out. We won't run any Comp lifters again.

Yes, the Morel lifters do appear to hold up to a beating and have been fine on the track and the street for over 5K miles of abuse.

I have run Comp lifters since 2001 not to the power levels and rpms you have been running. I had a set of Comp R lifters in my old stroker. Either way we'll see.
