NoMoreLS1: Do you really have that much money (75g) in your car? Out of curiosity, can you give us a rough break down of where it went?

Bought the car brand new in 1995, so that's $25,000 (actually more since it was financed).
From the firewall forward is $25,000
Complete front and rear suspension
Fluidyne radiator
BeCool fans
Griffen intercooler
Custom intercooling tubing
Headers
Custom y-pipe
Spintech cat back
Ceramic coating of parts
Powdercoating of parts
9 inch rear end
Extreme Duty T-56
McLeod twin disk
Custom chrome moly driveshaft
Body work for bumper
Hood
Rims (street and strip)
Fuel system
Stereo system
Gauges
Shifter
Various machine and fabricating work
Various little things over the years and I don't need to break it all down.
Not to mention the money that I spent with bolt ons and a P600B with the stock motor.
The 355 buildup done years ago
No need to go on as I am feeling sick to my stomach.

I'm just doing headers, hiflow cats, airbox and ported tb on the z06, should be over 380rwhp and that's enough for me.

My goal is to be able to rape the full bolt on+cam exhaust ones like LG's making 615 rwhp with my Hi Flo single 76mm making around 750 rwhp on high boost setting 100 octane. My brother is buying one and planing similar mods and betting money on our huge race?

Well back when the car was running... I would say yes... from a dig, from a roll...

And I have a heavy *** GTO! It would probably be close from a dig with my M6 that I had, but with the th400 that I have now... I wouldn't worry at all!

yea I got better things to do. I just meant by my statement that our f-bods take some serious work to get to the level of z06 perfomance.

I make 498/425 to the wheels. Watch the 1st video. I have a trans problem from 2nd to 3rd that causes me to hit the rev limiter so I let off to shift to avoid it. Other than that I'm dead even.

Those Z06's are one nice ride!!!
