Default Optimum turbo for a 6 speed LT1 355(with 10's in mind)

Ok..ive been thinking..I dont care how much power I make..I just want to run 10's. I really dont want to run over 12-14psi. I know Jose..had a customer on a stock engine run 11.03. on 10psi from a....t66 maybe? or Maybe it was a t-70..but it was on 10psi. Well..ill have a decently built engine(forged rods, pistons) with LE2 heads/turbo cam and big front mount. This will be on a ptk lt1 kit. Ok..enough about this..what should I go with...could I get away with a t-67?...or..??
This is going to be a street car and is going to see alot of abuse..which is why I want it to be safe.

id say you could ru na t67, make 550-600rwhp and run mid 10's maybe even a 10.0 but you'd need alot of weight redux and a killer drag suspension...

question is why not? You have the possibilty for more power, and it will cost close to the same.

Im gouing with a PT76GTS to make SURE I get what im out for...

Its better to over build than underbuild

If you are going to race and abuse, then go 76GTS or 76MPS. Leave yourself room to grow.

Yeah..I guess your right..this motor is being built basically as a learning "block" for turbo v8's im going to toy around next year..and while im having fun..have my real motor built. I dont wanna spend 6k into a short block..and put the car into a wall..and waste even more money. Once im used to this setup..ill step up to more hp. Which is why ill be limited to 14psi max. If I run a 10.99 Ill have met my goal.
