Default Any tricks to drop the pan?

I put this here because I am pulling it to tap for a oil return. I know a lot of you have done the same.I have all of the bolts out of the oil pan, and the motor mounts out with the motor jacked to its max but still cannot wiggle the pan out. Any tricks or whats the easiest way?
Thanks

I removed the oil pick up tube and the pan came right out without me having to jack up the motor. It's tricky, but I did it.

Its more of an issue trying to get the pan to clear the transmission and that bar directly under the front of the pan.......Any way to do it without unbolting either??

With the motor jacked up just a little and someone prying the kmember down a little the pan will pop right out.

With the tubular k member-
loosen the oil pan bolts, remove the big bolts
in the motor mounts,
jack up the motor by the balancer(or use a cherrypicker from the top)
Oil pan will slide out.

Stock k member? Are you loosening the bolts before prying it down?

They do make special drill bits to tap pans with that drive the shavings out towards the drill rather than having them fall into the pan.

If the K is what's in the way, then you can loosen the 4 bolts on the K a bit so it drops a 1/2 inch or so and tilts, which should allow the pan to slide out.

The bits came with vortech superchargers maybe you you could call them . We just pack the bits with grease to pickup the shavings.
