Default F1a Procharger set-up HELP

Ok guys this is what i am planning to build, a boost ready 346 at around 8.5 to 9 points of compression, boosted by a F1A procharger KIT with ETP 245 Heads. I am planning to run a VIctor Jr intake with a custom elbow and 90mm throttle body. My delema is what size headers should i go with, right now i have KOOKS 1 7/8 stepped to 2" headers that i am trying to sell because i'm thinking they are probaly to big. I am thinking either SLP Longtubes again or Kook 1 3/4 stepped to 1/78. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK.

My other delema is the cam profile.

I plan on running around 15 PSI of boost and am looking to see around 700RWHP.

Dont have much experience in the blower applications so your info is appreciated.

Thanks
Brian

Kooks 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 would be what I would recommend over the SLP headers. You will make more power with the Kooks headers.
Heck, you can make well over 700 rwhp with any mild blower camshaft with the combination you are putting together. We use the Lingenfelter GT2-3 cam on a lot of our builds, as it has excellent driveability characteristics.

This is our blower cam, which makes really good power, and has a great musclecar idle sound to it. Bob

700hp - 1 3/4 -1 7/8 headers
Raise the compression to 9.5-1
ET 225 heads
230's Cam
D1 Procharger.

The parts you have listed above on the list is for 900rwhp setups You'll be alot happier with the smaller stuff.

With my old YSi blower setup, I hit 754rwhp thru an unlocked T400. I was using the Kooks 1&7/8-2.000 step headers with 3.5" collectors. I was told by 8 second mustang blower guys to run as big of a header as I could.

I'm goin with the Kooks 1 7/8 stepped to 2" also. Sittin in the box waiting to go in the car. I'm gonna be runnin bigger cubes tho. If you plan on running on the street often I would probably go with the 1 3/4" stepped to 1 7/8". You can still reach your HP goals with the smaller primaries. Track only go with the larger primaries IMO.

Yep. On blower motors, going with an oversized primary won't have the effect as it would on a turbo car because the exhaust gases don't play a major part in making power. You can get by with the 1-3/4-1-7/8, but a 1-7/8-2 won't kill the car. I'd keep them if you've already got them.

15psi would be double the normal atmosphere, so essentially hp would be doubled.

A built 346ci might do 350-425rwhp, so double that is 700-850rhwp.

2.05/1.60 sounds good to me. That is what I ran in my old 6.0's, and my new AllPro heads are the same.
