Hate seeing this Dave, but I know you will get right back up and do up a faster one. Really happy you were not hurt or worse. Ive followed your posts for a long time, and expect to see your next ride in the future days. Sorry for the loss.

Son-of-a-bitch...that really sucks.

I'm sorry to hear that Dave. Thank God you're alright. I'm assuming you had all
the necessary safety equipment...right? Breathing is a good thing my friend.
Everything else is irrelevant and/or replacable.

I've wondered what would happen if I put my **** into the wall at 135mph.
Providing I walked away, would the car be a total financial loss? I think so
considering my insurance definitely wouldn't cover any type of drag racing.

I wish you all the best MM!

oh man that pic is hard to swallow. Glad to hear you're okay, and very very sorry about the car. Followed your progress thru the years and your car was one of the reasons I chose to go with a Formula.

Thats a shame. Hope you can recoup something from the wreckage. Glad you got to walk away from it without getting too beat up. Look at the brightside, you'll have another story to tell.....the car falling on you was starting to get long in the tooth

He's had nothing but trouble this year. It's obvious a higher power wants him to build a better, faster car. Time to start salvaging the good parts off the old ride! BTW, as much as I hate stupid safety regs, this is a good example of why they are in place.

Man.. there should be law suits against tracks like that.. seriously. That is dangerous.

I say we start a paypal fund for Dave if insurance doesn't cover it.. We might not be able to give much, but it might help a man when he's down.. I can't imagine what it'd be like to have something like that happen, but I've been reading his trials/tribulations with his car for a while now and that's worth some bucks to me alone (I pay for hotrod magazine articles.... why not?)

Later,
Josh

Damn Dave. I glad that you are ok. That picture makes me

If the insurance doesn't cover it, I am cool with the pay pal idea. Also if there was oil down on the track, I'd be one pissed off **** and ended up in the same situation.

Dave, I'm glad you're alright man. PM me if you need anything.

With the driver signing the waiver, I dont think there is much that can be done, but that does sit sore with us.
