Default t60 or t67?

Im trying to decide on which size turbo to go with...Im doing a rear mount setup and I have almost everything bought but the turbo Im trying to decide on which one i should go with, Im looking for around 500RWHP that should satisfy me for awhile...

Longrange has his 60 vs 67 #s there in his sig (theres a thread about it too with graphs). Youll make 500 with the 67. If you plan to forge relatively soon then i'd consider 70/76. But remember that a head/cam t67 is sure to break 600rwhp at reasonable boost.

how much power can a stock block, stock internal ls1 handle? im looking to get a turbo kit and be around 500whp too. want to know if it will handle it fine?

its mostly about having a good tune. But in general they usually handle 550rwhp. The block is good to 1000+hp. Its the internals.

Rods/pistons are really the weak point. Cranks have been run up 800rwhp before without coming apart, now that may be stepping out on a limb and playing the lotto every time but it has been done. Rods aren't that great to begin with, let alone the bolts that hold the cap to the actual rod. The pistons are of a hypereutectic design, and seem to hold up "okay" for low boost. When mine let go... it let go... it was the pistons, not the rods.
