Sounds good. is that pssssshhhhhh sound the BOV or turbo spooling? Tough to destinguish.

Any more vids in the works? Id be interested in hearing it idle with the kit and maybe street cruise.

The whistling is all turbo, the pssshhh sound is the godzilla bov. The darn wind noise makes it tough to tell.

I have some more vids. Have a couple 1st-3rd gear runs from outside the car (including me missing a gear ), and some crusing vids. Let me see if I can get them uploaded.

Here is a not quite WOT 1-3 run. I shifted it short at about 5k rpm, but you can get an idea of what it sounds like. Was a little more cautious this time since I had just missed a gear with it about 60 seconds before.

I like it! Good skills, too.

BTW, What are you doing for an intercooler?

Thanks. Autocrossing this thing is a bit different than when it was n/a. I did get quite a few curious people asking about after the first run though; I guess a turbo LS1 does not exist around here until now

It is the standard TTi street one. Mounts in front of the radiator. Not ideal, but the I plan to go a2w next year so it will do for now.

Heres a video of the Godzilla BOV on my old setup. I don't think they ever just sound the same. It depends on the motor compression, and the placement of the BOV as well

I have the turbo xs also. I'd get you a clip but the car isnt tuned and its not fit for driving anyway. I heard it from a distance on my buddys LT1 and it sounded good. Although I dont really care if its rice or not, they all seem to sound good to me.

Right after the intercooler on the Drivers side.

Ya you can find them on ebay. But their good parts retail for around $100 and I believe the megasonic or watever it is called sells for over $150.
