i just found out what meth really is!

Use the IAT tables to protect against methanol delivery failure. Get your system dialed in under controlled (dyno) conditions, and get a good log for the IAT's that represent WOT with methanol flowing. Ideally, you'd be doing this near the operational temps that you expect to run at... logging some IATs afterward on the street on a pretty hot day would also be good data to collect. Then you'll have the info necessary to "tune-in" your safety net: if IAT's rise significantly above your established threshold, you pull lotsa timing.

Careful that meth will rot your teeth
Also a hose hooked up from your winshield washer motor to your inlet pipe constitutes a "meth" kit. As does a .39 cent burger from McDonalds constitutes a "hamburger".
Carl.. quit being lazy and come by
www.corvetteforum.com just type the word "meth" in the search engine. Same engines.. same blowers/turbo's/etc...

Thats good for you, but I tend to believe that if I ran out of meth with all the fuel I took out of the tune(25-30%) that my engine would rather quick.
Dyno=can have an eye on the ol WB hence saving your engine, street=good luck having an eye on anything other than the road going ***** out.
Why so angry anyway??? Mammy didn't feed you off the titty long enough Seriously dude...chill.

Yeah, me neither. Meth is just like anything else, with rewards come risks.

A slick little insurance trick would be to have a pressure switch downstream in the alcohol delivery system that would short the IAT sensor in the event of a failure. It would have to have a defeat relay or transistor in place for when the controller is not commanding meth. This would pull more than enough timing to protect the motor.

That's a really good idea. Although, I'd prefer to use a flow switch, as the presence of pressure could indicate a clogged nozzle.
