Would you be holding back the motor a lot if you run a D1SC with stock heads

great numbers, espically on a mustang dyno. The only complaint i have is the fact it has a big wing and lambo doors. But then again when you put almost 800 at the wheels you can do what you want.

To some degree you do, but if you don't have forged internals the heads aren't really an issue, as you can easily make more than enough power for the stock bottom end. If you do have a forged bottom end, then having good flowing heads is certainly going to make more power than stock heads would with X amount of boost. A lot of it depends on what you can afford, and whether the rest of the drivetrain (and the driver...) is up to the power. Bob

We ran this T/A the other night. Muncie Dragway does not normally provide much traction on test and tune days, but it didn't do too bad out of the hole. This tranny does not want to shift though! I missed fourth gear on the run above, and I missed second gear on the other two runs! I never could get the car into fourth gear on the run above, and coasted through in neutral, which explains the lower mph in the 1/4 compared to the 1/8 mph... (Left Lane)
This car would be much quicker with an automatic! Bob

They're damn near impossible to open upwards from the inside. Bob

Does the front mount intercooler help more to make this power than the 2 smaller ones?

It works amazingly well, its just that right now we are maxing out the d1sc and the IAT's are getting hot twards the end of the pass. A larger blower or some meth would definatly help.

Yes it is supposed to be posted. I thought I screwed something up when I also noticed the other day it was not there, so I went to my website and noticed other pictures are missing as well. I e-mailed my web host yesterday and told him about the problem. Hopefully it will be an easy fix.
The car ran a low eleven in the 1/4, costing much of the last eight mile. Bob

The rear tires will be here today for this car, and we'll have Bogarts and M/T tires on this car today or tomorrow. I'll add pic's of the new combination. Bob

The Mickey Thompson ET Street tire is a monster 28 x 13.50 x 15!
It has a true 11.0 tread width on the ground, and has a 28.0 tire diameter.
