Why are you trying to control boost with a BOV in the first place? The WG is made to control boost.

Why not just get 2 weaker springs for a little less boost? Or you can use the WG reference off the turbo housing instead of the intake; that should lower your boost some.

Im not trying to control boost with the BOV. i was hoping the BOV wouldnt bleed boost. I wasnt really sure what the 7 psi BOV thing meant but get it now after a few people clarified that it means it takes 7 psi of vacuum, not what i originally thought. I think you mis read. Combo should run roughly 8.7 psi, think it will be too much for the motor? Any idea what it will put down on a mustang dyno? Getting it tuned at Wheel 2 Wheel

Ok, i'm getting ready to order the other parts i need but need some help on the fans. I need 2 SINGLE Pushers in roughly 10-11" . Want some that will provide better cooling that stock if possible while i'm at it. Could someone link me to a few singles that are an easy install and work good to your knowledge. I know FLX is good and most of you guys run the FLX 240, however i need 2 singles. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Heres what i have found...

This is what i want i think except i can't find it any smaller then this 12". Not sure if it will fit..... Low-Profile

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Or without the black shround box..

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Just found out that the only size made in their low-profile series is a 12".... Should i get those and make them fit or what are your thoughts?

Also, shround or no?

First things 1st, what size radiator are you using? Stock?? They make twin fan kits as well. Remember to get them with thermostatic control, or at least one of them (2nd one kicks on only when temp is high etc). Before you get fans, you should install the kit to check for clearances...

heres more ideas http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/f..._fans/fal-230/

ok thanks, using stock radiator. John suggested using 2 single's as the pipe going right up inbetween them..... Your probably right, i should start the install first to see what i have to work with...

tHE PIPE WILL GO UP BETWEEN THEM IF YOU GET PUSHERS... YOU SHOULD HAVE ROOM FOR PULLERS UNLESS THE DESIGN CHANGED SINCE i HAD HIS KIT. Whoops, sorry bout caps.

Get thin pullers if at all possible..pullers generally do a better job.

hey, i would recommend getting one of these. It would seem that your worried about boost pressure versus short block. So a boost controller would be a good idea for piece of mind. Also, considering the grand scheme of it all, you are already deep in the money pit so its not that bad price wise.

Anyways, its the e-boost2. GREAT boost controller and it would look nicely in your air vent.

Good review.

Dang, that set up does look nice but i think since i'm only going to run of WG for now its a bit un-needed. I have the boost guage to monitor. Maybe i'll look into one of those once i decide to up the boost with a better motor.

Parts should be here tomorrow possibly!

Well i was expecting the kit to arrive yesterday or today but no luck . He said he shipped it out on Sat. The last package took 2 days to get here due to priority so i was expecting it Tues or Weds but i called and he said this was coming standard 3-4 day. So nothing today...... hopefully something tomorrow. This waiting is not fun, lol.

Congrats on finally picking a turbo kit. Personally, I thought I'd never see the day that you actually jumped in with both feet. Just a word of warning, just because I know how anxious you are about this project... PLEASE make sure this thing is done right and that you dont blow it up by driving it without a good tune. I would hate to see your dreams go up in smoke, literally.
