Perish, that thing has been, and continues to be sick. 4WD AND running close to 9s.

awesome truck. i love the fact that

1) it isnt a 4 link 3500 lbs race *****
2) its done by a regular dude and not a 150K dollar race budget shop

parrish, are you still running mega squirt? do you like it?

i am afraid if i keep it i will probably be going the 4link and 2wd route. keeping it and not making it faster really isn't an option for me and i dont see many ways to make it faster without doing the 2wd and making it hook route.

yep. still running megasquirt. yeah i like it. doing fueling and nitrous control and it is working great. it is prety easy to tune.

lifting heads seems to really kick in just a little higher level than i am at. i dont think there is too much more i can do before i run into the head lifting problem just like others. also these runs are on a dynojet and they are over quickly. i will let you know soon if i can make a 10sec run down the track and the heads still stay down.

i dont know what much about ms2. i think the ms1 with the "extra" firmware has more features than the ms2. i could be wrong but i think the ms1 has a wider support base than the newer ms2.

my ms is a prety basic set up. there are a lot of guys out there doing much more with one than i am. i am just doing fueling and nitrous control. i might try duel sets of staged injectors wich the ms1 is suppose to handle.

there are lots of tuning options for us ls1 guys these days and i dont know much about any of them. i just go with what is cheap(or what someone will give me) and what works.

Well im a LT1 feller so i dont have **** for tuning options. I have TunerCATS right now... but im ditching the LT1 and going GEN with EFI.

I guess if yo uare just controlling fuel and ignition and not getting too wild with it (like controlling nitrous and this and that)... it dont matter.
