I run a Be-Cool dbl core radiator (same size, more $) and all I did was remove the AC condensor & move the bottom forward. It clears my D-1SC just fine.

And an LT1 rad is bigger than the LS1 - it's the same as the SLP perf LS1 rad.

I was just about to ask about Be-Cool Rads.. I have read about them and people seem to love them.. How you like yours? What kind of fans do you run? and what temps?

he said its the same one i listed above at the very beginning
I know the Radiator that is being used I plan to order one in the next week or so, The fan setup and Shround to hold the fan was what I was wondering about?
I just got off the phone with Spal and they said they don't make a Single 16inch Fan straight blade that flow 2800 CFM but they make one that flows 2360 CFM, and for like $16.00 they sell a kit for you to bolt it up to a radiator (seemed simple enough) They sell the fan for $157.00 and they told me it would be cheaper through a Dealer.

Kyle I would still like to hear from you about the part number you used, and how difficult it was to attach the Fan to the radiator. Thanks man.

You gave me the part number for the racdiator not the Fan and shround setup. You are using a 1 fan from the stock assembly that you cut in half.

I only have the single ATI fan on my car, but I do run a Mez pump. My car runs around 175 on the road, & <190 at the track. It will get up close to 200 sitting in traffic now, because I had to modify the shroud to get the meth pump installed.

I would think a Radiator without a shroud would stay cooler??? Any ideas?

Its the other way around, if you run an electric fan/fans w/o a shroud, it will only pull air through the radiator the diameter of the fan. when you use a shroud the fan/fans pull from a larger area of the cooling fins.

another way to think of it is like a velocity stack how it spreads out on the end.

nasty ta,

do you think you would have room to have pusher fans in front of the radtiator? id like to keep them up there to give me plenty of room in the engine bay for the d1sc and mabey a f1c/r later on down the road...

Thanks,

Tyler
