Default C5 Z06 STS Exhaust Baffles?

I made some baffles to slip fit into my pipes with the tips. I haven't nailed it, but, they seem to work pretty well with about 30% less noise. If I did nail it can someone give me a idea if the extra backpressure would do?
Thanks!

I guess that means nothing and I'm sure less power and richer fuel, but still hopefully won't blow anything. That answer doesn't clarify that for a turbo system novice like myself!

post a pic so we can get a better idea of what you actually did and what it did to the sound?

Are these what you're talking about?

Interesting! I was going to shoot them this morning but it is to cloudy up here in Oregon right now.

My tips are welding to a pipe connector and clamped on to the rear pipes.

The baffles fit inside the pipes and are held in by the tips.

My baffles are 2-1/4" x 1-7/8" pipe connectors. The 1-7/8" front edge is bent-in 4 places sym 5/16" with one 3/8" hole drilled directly behind the bend and one more 3/8" hole drilled behind the bend at the 2-1/4" to 1-7/8" narrowing for a total of eight 3/8" holes.

I also drilled four more 5/16" holes at the narrowing between the other holes.

All trying to bounce the noise around in the tips!

so how quiet did it make it and based on how it feels, what do you think it did to the power?

30% quieter, as I said. On the freeway I lost no fuel economy criuzing so it's getting enough air at low rpm. I probably hit PE mode a couple of times, but like I said not at WOT. I'M SCARED because I just don't have the experience with mixing up exhaust with a Turbo sucker like this.

No it's just a guess! But since all you nice guys haven't stepped up and warned me I'm also guessing my system is probably safe plugging it up a bit.
Thanks! Thanks!
