GMPP intake
I know intake questions are usually in external engine but only the FI guys use the GMPP. Does anyone know or have a rough estimate what the cost is for a GMPP, to have it ported, drilled, and anything else needed that I don't know about? I already have the fuel rails so they aren't needed. This is for a FI setup too.
Also do any sponsors sell the intake and perform this work on it?
Thanks!

Do a search...it is defo lower.
I think somewhere around 5/8"
the GMPP also uses a gasket to seal. Edelbrock uses factory rubber gaskets.
Edelbrock comes ready equipped for fuel injection.

Thanks Sparkwirez06 and HAMRHEAD. Stupid question's, this should have no problem fitting on the LS2 block right? And do you think this is the best route to go for a LS2402 with an S-85 Turbo that will be running about 8.5.1 CR and high boost? And finally is there additional work that needs to be done on this particular Intake Manifold or is the listed item good to go?

Here's mine.
I used the Edelbrock, Aaron's elbow, Aeromotive fuel rails I adapted myself, and a Ford/Accufab 85mm TB ( I'm free to use any TPS etc )
I'll just link it, cos its a big pic.

I have the GMHTP Carb intake..... it does sit lower then the other..... i bought mine beore the new on came out as a kit and had to pay for the drilling to make it work with injecters.....
It was more in the long run.....
With out the Aarons elbow either would work on a car that is sitting on stock motor mounts...... we had to lower my motor 2"s on my car machine the elbow down a 1/2" and still had to notch the hood.
Heres a Pic...

Wilson manifolds have these manifolds ready to go with fuel rails and the injector bosses drilled out. they sell the elbows too, some with a better angle to help clear the cowl. i saw these at the world street nats and talked with the rep there, they had the throttle bodies to go with it too, 90 and 105mm. They're stuff was cheaper than the Fast manifold stuff too by way far.
if i ever switch over to turbo you know what manifold i'm getting.

If they are using 3"...is there really any benefit ( or point ) in using TB's as large as 90 and 105mm, given the IC pipework is only 76mm OD ???
I know some race cars might use larger than 3"...but looking at pics etc, I'd say most cars are still at 3"...partly due to packaging constraints Im sure...
