I agree, if I wasn't in Cali I'd go crazy, but thats not the case. Since the turbo is mounted post-cats, I'm thinking I have MANY options on what I want to do, as long as the charge pipe is not connected for smog. But if I make the kit look somewhat like the STS kit, I could bring the STS CARB number to smog. I'm thinking of getting some used ATI intercoolers and adapting them to the rear turbo. It would give it a nice sleeper look and I won't have to cut apart my front fascia, plus the mounting holes are already drilled from the ATI kit that used to be on the car. This could be a lot of fun

just gut the stock air box and run the charge pipe through it... make it LOOK stock but still have the turbo on it at all times

I'm installing a Vortech S-Trim and the place I'm buying it from, and where I will have it tuned, said that on a stock LS6 with headers that even with a safe/rich tune, it will put down 525 or so to the wheels, while having a CARB EO. If I was forged, he said 600+ is no problem.
