Default Turbo question

I have a lt1 and I am going to fabricate a turbo kit for it. The question that I have is what is a good turbo for my setup. I want something that will spool fast and keep building power to 6400rpm which is where I will be shifting. It is a 383 with AFR 190's and the compression is 10:1 so I can only push about 10psi. So it doesn't have to be huge turbo. Any help is appreciated.

-Thanks

t76 or maybe a pte88. I know forced has a a kit on a LT1 with a pt88.

good luck!!

Question, what intentions do you have for this build? Street, strip, a combination of the two, etc? IT would help out to see which turbo would better match you specific app. That 76 will get you a nice powerband but ME, i think i would do the 88, becuase of A. you cubes and two, the headroom that turbo has is plenty, i believe, for what you maybe be looking at doing, not to say that the 76 wont generate enough power, but i just like the 88's for that much cube.

laterZ!

A combination of the two. I want it to run good on the street, but I also want to run 10.90's at the track. Which is my goal for this build. The main thing I want is it to spool fast. Turbo lag has kept me away from going turbo and leaning more to the side of n2o which I have experience with. Let me know.

-Thanks

T76GTS if you are worried about lag. The T88 wont hit full spool till probably ~4500rpm.
